Although all our events have been cancelled this year the Association and The Hull Corn Trade Guild are very keen to support charitable causes, both local and national, and have funds available to make donations when suitable recipients are identified. We will continue to support during these uncertain times, as there are more and more instances coming to light of charities struggling to continue. If you become aware of any charity that we may be able to help, please send the details to info@hcfta.co.uk so that a donation can be discussed at the next Executive Committee meeting.
We currently make ongoing donations to 2 children’s charities, KIDS and Circus Starr, and to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. In the past we have also made one off donations to, amongst others, Andys’ Mans Club (a mental health charity), Epilepsy Society, Forage Aid and Humber Rescue to name a few.
