North Yorkshire Trade Awareness Course


We are pleased to announce our next trade awareness course will take place on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th June. Delegates will be visiting a variety of sites in North Yorkshire showing production of grain and feed along with its storage and transportation.

 We are very grateful to the businesses concerned who are allowing us to visit their premises

·        A large port operator based in Teesport.

·        A bulk hauliers to see how grain is initially stored and transported

·        A modern milling facility

·        A family owned farming enterprise which, amongst other things, is involved in arable farming on 3000 acres, dairy farming with a 1300 strong herd and agricultural contracting.

·        A well known brewery to learn about the process of using barley to produce a variety of beers.

The cost of this 2 day course is £375 for members and £425 for non-members to include overnight accommodation on the 3rd, all meals and coach transportation for the duration of the course. We have reserved a limited number of rooms for Tuesday 2nd if anyone would prefer to travel the night before, these can be allocated to interested delegates on a first come first served basis. The cost of this extra night is not included in the course fee and will be invoiced separately.
